Currently, 70% of potato crops globally are stored using chemicals. But Restrain is aiming to change that statistics, with ethylene systems that provide residue-free sprout control in potato storage. Our solutions are sustainable, healthy and environmentally friendly.
In new business terms, our vision is hugely ambition. So we're looking for a powerful business developer who can actively challenge accepted ways of working, change minds and win customers. You've got to be technically expert, with a strong track record of working with farmers, packers and researchers.
But you also need real commercial drive, working across the UK, Australia and New Zealand to champion a radical new product in the market. Constantly exploring opportunities in every type of sector, you will be prepared to travel extensively, work closely with clients and bring formidable energy to the role.
A track record of providing quality service to customers/farmers is essential, with a sound technical knowledge of potato and onion storage and a keen commercial awareness. You will also be comfortable working in a small team, with the motivation, organisation and communication skills needed to consistently meet customer expectations.
